There are two methods to upgrade the software of
the TV.
Method 1:
Upgrade the software through the USB drive.
- Contact the after-sales team to check if there
is new software for your TV.
- Power off the TV.
- Copy the SW BIN file or 'Update.img' to the root
directory of the USB drive.
- Insert the USB drive into the USB port on the TV.
- Power on the TV and then press and hold the physical
power button on the back of the TV for about 10 seconds. The TV will upgrade
the software automatically, and you could see the upgrading note on the TV.
- After upgrading successfully, the TV will
restart automatically, and it will take about 4 minutes.
Method 2:
Update the software online.
- Connect the wifi network to the TV to ensure the
TV has internet access.
- Switch the TV to the Home mode, and then press
the Home
button on the TV remote and select Settings-->Device
Preference-->About-->System Update-->Network Update.
- The TV will detect if there is new software or
not and upgrade the software online directly.
