Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness – Netflix

This true crime docuseries has taken the world by storm and it seems like we are the criminals to think we can summarise it in a few paragraphs but here we go.

Oklahoma roadside zoo owner Joe Exotic, a polygamist big cat wrangler and wannabe country music star, engages in a years-long feud with big cat sanctuary owner Carol Baskin, which involves death threats, murder for hire, sabotage and millions of dollars.

Not enough to entice you into watching the first episode yet?

Don’t worry because we have barely scratched the surface of what this overstuffed documentary series delivers. When you finally think you’ve got things figured out, the story continues to get increasingly more bizarre with each episode and will leave you in awe of the events that just transpired.

If you’re contemplating watching it, just do yourself a favour and WATCH IT!

You can then decide for yourself whether it was one of the craziest things you have ever had the pleasure of watching or if it was a complete waste of time.

In a bid to make a name for himself, Stallworth decides to take on a dangerous mission: infiltrate and expose the Ku Klux Klan.

Beastars – Netflix

As Anime becomes an increasingly more popular genre, Netflix has bolstered its ranks by taking on Beastars. Since it has aired Beastars has been well received across the world due to its unique CG character design and has been compared to Disney’s 2016 hit Zootopia, but with its darker tone and more complex storyline it leaves you with a more fulfilling experience.

Set in a world populated by anthropomorphic animals, the series starts at Cherryton High School where students live in harmony with one another until a ‘predation’ incident occurs.

You are then introduced to Legosi, a wolf with anxiety and member of the drama club, who was a close friend with the predation victim. Naturally, tensions run high after the incident and has furthered the divide between predators and prey throughout the school.

We follow Legosi as he investigates the murder of his friend, during so he meets a dwarf rabbit who he can’t get out of his head and struggles to understand if it’s due to his attraction towards her or ultimately his predatory instincts.
